About us

Located on the south side of Maozhuang village (0.8 km east to Jingfu Highway and 2.5 km north to 353 provincial road), Taitousi village of Dezhou economic development zone, this project is the large grid-connected PV power station project constructed and invested by CECEP Solar Energy Technology Co., Ltd.. The total investment of this project is about 188,000,000 Yuan and the project occupies an area of 420 Mu. The first phase of the project is to construct 10 MWP grid-connected solar energy PV generating assembly with planned capacity of 20 MWP. Under the concern and guidance of the company’s leaders at all levels, this project held commencement ceremony on September 28, 2010, and Yu Hailong, general manager of China Energy Conservation and Environmental Protection Group, and Qi Naigui, vice-chairman of the CPPCC of Shandong Province, attended the commencement ceremony. The first phase of the project started the construction at the beginning of October of 2010 and was planned to combine to the grid at the end of December of 2010.

After the construction of the project, it will not use fuel and water resource and increase the local transportation pressure. It belongs to the clean power generating project that utilizes renewable energy sources without such pollution discharges as exhaust gas, waste water and waste residue. After the project goes into operation, the average annual on-grid energy provided by the project is about 13,500,000 kW·h. Compared with coal fired power plant and computed in accordance with the 2008 national average net coal consumption rate of 349g/kW·h, it can save 4712t of standard coal every year, and correspondingly reduce various air pollutant discharge, among which reduce 151t of SO2 discharge, 34t of nitric oxide (computed as NO2), 12100t of carbon dioxide, 5t of smoke (computed as PM10) and about 1413t of ash.

The construction of the project can not only reduce the consumption of fossil resource, but also ease the environmental protection pressure and realize the coordinated growth between economy and environment. Benefits resulted from energy saving and environmental protection are remarkable. This project is constructed on the waste brickyard and effectively utilizes the idle land to generate power, which has obvious social benefits. This project is one of few megawatt level large grid-connected PV power stations in China. The construction of the project help competent department of power grid to summarize the operating experience of the effect of grid-connected PV power station on power grid system, which lays the foundation for extending the construction of grid-connected power station in the large scale and has good demonstration effect.
